You’ve probably heard that a picture is worth a thousand words. This is also true for data. One of the most rewarding parts of data analysis is the ability to create meaningful visualizations of your findings. Data visualization is important to think about because it makes your research findings more easily understandable and accessible to a wide audience. The data visualization process also allows you to glean insights you might otherwise miss.
If you are distributing an online survey, many of those platforms will generate charts and graphs for you, but other ways of presenting data can include word clouds, maps, and infographics.
